ラーメンLOVEナイト 読書部(１) 『日日是好日』

昨日は、「新・映像の世紀」に夢中になって寝るのが大変に遅くなってしまった。それゆえに普通ならば、昼間は眠くてしかたがないのに、『日日是好日』に夢中にさせられた。著者が、茶事に関わった25年間が凝縮されて綴られている。その丁寧な文体と茶事にまつわるエピソードに何度も感動をした。

著者が、映画『道』を若き頃に観たのだが、年を経てから観たときに、知らないうちに心を魅了されて泣いていたというエピソードから、私も『道』を再度観てみたいと感じた。

さらに、「正月の茶会に呼ばれた際に観た、古臭いと思っていた日本の文化。それが、ことのほかモダンでこれこそが異国人が絶賛した日本の「伝統」であると心底感じたと綴っている」という表現にの上品さと美しさに心をやられた。伝統は接してこそわかる気がする。

そして、簡単だと思っていることこそが難しいということが書いてあった。この様な文章にあたると私は『夢十夜』の運慶と快慶のエピソードを思い出す。

この本は、茶事を通して何度も感動させられる本で、誠に良い作品だと思う。

本のあとがきにあたる解説もまたよかった。解説をしているのは、柳家小三治師匠。小三治師匠が時には独演会での落語を中止して、この本の文章を豊かに朗読することがあるという。茶事を通して感じる部分を丁寧な文章で、「言葉」として表現している。それを小三治師匠は日々声に出して読んでいるようだ。

Yesterday, I was absorbed in "Shin Eizounoseiki" and I got to bed late very much. Therefore, if it is normal, I was keenly caught up in "day after day," though I was sleepy and not afraid during the day. The author spelled 25 years involved in tea ceremonies being condensed and spelled out. I was deeply impressed by the author 's polite writing style and episode related to tea ceremony.

The author saw the movie "Road" at a young age, but from the episode that when I watched from the year passed since I was fascinated by my heart without being aware of myself, I saw "Road" again I felt like it.

Furthermore, the Japanese culture I thought as old-fashioned as she felt at the New Year 's tea ceremony. In addition to that, it was bewildering a document that wrote that he felt it was a modern and contemporary Japanese "tradition" which was exquisitely exchanged by foreigners. Tradition seems to understand only by touching.

And it was written that what I think is easy is difficult. When I write such a sentence, I recall the baptism and the episode of Chingqing of "Dream Ten Nights".

I think this book is a really good work with a book that can be impressed many times through tea ceremonies.

The commentary that follows the book was also good. What is being explained is Yanagiya Kosanji. Sometimes Kosanji stops rakugo at a singing party and reads the text of this book abundantly. In the polite sentences that express feelings through tea ceremonies, they are expressed as "words". It seems that Kosanji reads it loudly every day.
